How to order your K Davis Studios Jewelry.
I accept Paypal and all major credit cards
My processing time is currently 2 to 3 business days of receiving cleared payment. It is possible that your order may ship sooner than this, but I am an independent artist and order volume may be high (especially around the holidays), so please allow for this when you place your order. Please note- this is not the time it will take for your package to reach you (see below), this is the time it takes for me to create, process, and pack your order and get it into the mail.
With that being said, if you need an order quickly, please feel free to contact me. If I have the time, I'd be happy to accomodate your special request.
I ship via USPS First Class Mail through the USPS. First Class Mail has an estimated transit time of 3-7 business days.
You will receive an email notification with a tracking number when your package ships.
Any items reported as not delivered to me should be accompanied by a post office report file # so that I may track the inquiry; often items are left with a neighbor or put somewhere the carrier feels safe and can actually be found. I will replace any items lost after the post office closes the inquiry and verifies the item not delivered which can take up to 30 days. Orders over $200 will be sent with signature confirmation.
International orders ship via USPS First Class. You will receive an email notification when your package ships, which will include a customs number. Transit time varies by country but 10-15 business days is a good estimate. It may take longer if customs decides to hold your package. I have no control over customs delays.
During busy shipping times, such as the Christmas holidays, the transit time can increase greatly to as much as 4-6 weeks. So please keep that in mind when placing your order.
Please note that depending on your country's policies, you may be charged customs fees, import duties, taxes, or VAT on your package. These are fees levied by your government; they are not additional shipping costs, and they are not remitted to me. I am not legally permitted to pay them for you, nor do I have prior knowledge of when they will be charged. It is illegal for me to mark a package as a gift on customs forms or enter a lower value in order to avoid them. It is the buyer's responsibility to educate themselves on their country's customs policies before placing an international order.
Sometimes, due to unusual circumstances, a package may take a long time to arrive.
Please note that I cannot file a lost package claim until the following amount of time has passed:
Domestic (U.S): 21 days past shipping date.
International: 45 days past shipping date.
ITALY: 60 days past shipping date
Quite often a lost package will show up within this time frame. If a package is truly lost, you will be requested to complete a claim form.
Please contact me within 2 days of receipt to arrange for a return or exchange. Please do not return items without return authorization. Items returned without authorization are not eligible for a refund.
For domestic orders, items must be returned within 10 days of contacting me in order to receive a refund.
There will be a 20% restocking fee on all authorized returned earrings to cover the cost of materials to switch out ear wires, or 30% in the case of hoop styles that will need to be scrapped entirely as I cannot guarantee that the earrings have not been worn and cannot resell previously worn earrings due to hygienic reasons.
Exchanges or refunds (minus shipping) will be made once the item has been received by me in unworn and undamaged condition in its original packaging. Damaged items are not eligible for a full refund.
Tracking and insurance is recommended when mailing back to me. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

* Please note that due to health/ hygiene issues as mentioned in the European Directive, earrings will arrive in a sealed package. If the seal has been broken, the earrings will no longer be refundable. Sorry for any inconvenience.
* If the item you ordered is considered "custom" as defined as, it is made (in your size choice, your choice of material or stone, with the finish or changes you requested), this means the item is not returnable under the European Union Directive on Consumer Rights, right of return.
* Exchanges or refunds (Minus Original Shipping) will be made once the item has been received by me in unworn and undamaged condition in its original packaging.
* Buyer is responsible for return shipping. Sorry, I cannot accept COD's.
* INTERNATIONAL BUYERS please contact me before item is shipped if these terms are not acceptable and you need to cancel your order.
RETURNS OF CUSTOM/ PERSONALIZED/ MADE TO ORDER JEWELRY:
Each made to order or custom piece is made especially for you and is generally not able to be resold. Because of this, custom orders are generally non-refundable. Although certain exceptions might be made, it is at my discretion so be sure to contact me before you return a custom item.
